I have been writing for many years; first for enjoyment when I was younger, and then in the pursuit of my Bachelor's of Education degree, where I majored in Language and Literacy. Upon graduation from the University of Alberta, I taught both in a classroom and private music lessons.

 

This year, I moved from Alberta to Nova Scotia, to continue teaching in Halifax. I am halfway through my Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies through Athabasca University, where I have dual focused on Education and Literary Studies. My goal is to combine my love of literature and the written word with my passion for education. 

 

When I'm not pursuing music, furthering my education, or teaching, I can be found writing fiction or poetry.  I have two published books on Amazon which are part of a larger trilogy! As well, I write poetry for my Instagram, and my upcoming poetry collection.
